Valentine's Weekend Feb 23 Enjoy Valentines day while staying at Candy Hill and go to Veramar Vinyards for a special treat. Bring your sweetheart to the annual treat of decadent chocolate fountain and Veramar wines. Valentine's day weekend includes chocolate fountain, wine tasting and souvenir glass. Music begins at 1 pm. Reservations are highly suggested limited space for this very popular event.
Veramar's Wine and Cheese Weekend March 14-16 Stay at Candy Hill while so you are close to this great event! Guided presentation of gourmet cheeses paired with Veramar wines. Limited space for this after hour’s event. Advance reservations required. Cheese Pairing includes a wine and cheese tasting and souvenir glass. Guided tastings begin at 6pm
Easter Egg Hunt & Family Day at Belle Grove Plantation March 22 Join the fun hunting eggs at this historic site. Special family admission rates to tour manor house. Apple Blossom Festival April 27-May 4 Join the fun and pageantry of the 81st Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival in historic Winchester. Memorial Day Weekend May 23-26 Candy Hill's pool opens for the season
Newtown Heritage Festival May 23-25 This free family-friendly festival takes place throughout Main Street, Stephens City. Come participate in the Apple Crate Derby for six to 12 year olds, craft show, demonstrating artisans, parade and fireworks on Saturday, live music, children’s events, wagon rides, museum tours and more. Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 12 noon to 5 p.m.
Fathers' Day Weekend June 13-15 Coffee and Doughnuts on the front porch Sunday Morning to honor our dads.
Family Fishing Rodeo June 21 This rodeo is open to ages four and up and takes place at Wilkin’s Lake in Jim Barnett Park. Prizes will be given for the largest and longest fish in each division.
